So many times we are getting bored by eating same vegetables we want regular change in vegetable .I have today so many vegetables but I think let us we shall try another way to eat subji means subji as a chutney or chutney as a subji .

Onions  3 to 4 middle size.

chilly powder L 2 tabs

salt: 1 + 1/2  tab

oil: 2 tab

mustard seeds: 1 tab

:  Wash it clean and keep aside to drain the water.

;  Keep the pan on the gas, pour oil to it.

: Add mustard seeds in it, wait to splutter.

:  Add cutting an onion to it and fry it well

: Add chilly powder and salt to it and stir it well.

: Your fried onion chutney is ready to serve.

: Serve it with chapati or roti.

: Don’t add another ingredient to it so that it can lose the taste of fried onion.

: It gives a very nice and delicious taste.

: It can give taste to stale chappati, roti, dhapate .

: When we are on a journey it can support as a good subji for chapati and dhapate.

Dahi Rice Ingredients..:

Cooked Rice: 1/2 kgIMG_20171111_100005

Sugar:      1 tablespoon

Dahi:       200gm

Coriander:  1/2 bowl

Green Chilly: 7 to 8

Groundnut:   20gm

Homemade protein: 2 tablespoon


Take cooked rice in a pan,

It should be cool. Make it free by hand,

add homemade protein, sugar, salt & Dahi in it.

Mix it properly. Now keep the small pan on the gas,

add some oil, cumin, mustard seeds, green chilly & ground nut in it..

Fry it for some time. Serve it with coriander. It also gives a different                                  taste. & we can make it instantly.

Do you know Indian housewife strategy for evening cooking? Maybe they are looking at a lot of food recipes on the TV or on the net but still, in the evening they are searching to make easy food. In of the first priority goes to famous Khichadi but if family members are getting bored by eating it then they are choosing some types of delicious rice as it can make quickly and easily. As well as rice is good for dinner. In our area for old people and small kids are only eating rice at night along with ghee . As it is easy to digest and light to feel also. Easy to make simple rice and easy to eat also. It requires less time also along with less energy to make it.

Rice   1 bowl [Jeera rice ]

groundnuts 1/4 bowl

mint  [dry leaves powder ]   2 spoon

coriander  [chopped ]  2 tbsp

tomato  1 [chopped ]

garam masala  1 tbsp

cumin powder 1 tbsp

oil  2 tbsp

mustard seeds 1 tbsp

hing  1/2 teas

curry leaves   4 to 5

cinnamon powder  1/2 tbsp

salt    as your convenience

PROCEDURE  FOR IT :    : Keep the rice to soak for 2 hrs before making it.

; Keep draining water through a sieve

: Chop the tomato, coriander and keep aside

: Keep all ingredients ready . Remove small sticks from mint   leaves before adding to it.

: That is oil, groundnut seeds, mustard seeds, cumin, hing, mint leaves powder,  cinnamon powder, mustard seeds, cumin powder, curry leaves, oil, cumin, garam masala

: Now keep the small cooker on the gas, pour oil to it, wait to heat it . Add cumin, mustard seeds and wait to splutter it .

: Now add curry leaves, chopped tomatoes, groundnuts and fry   it well.

: Add rice to it and fry it well.

: Now add salt, garam masala, cumin powder, cinnamon  powder, hing, etc and stir it well.

: Meanwhile, keep hot water in another pot on another   gas for heating.

: Now add one glass of hot water in the cooker.

: Stir it slowly and keep the lid tightly.

: Take  2 whistles, your fried mint rice is ready to eat.

: Serve it with any salad.



NOTE: Yesterday was Ekadashi here so I have not used onion and garlic, you can use it for your convenience.

I  was so much hungry so I forgot to take the photo of all steps sorry for it.

METHOD FOR IT : Soak the rice and drain it out

: Keep all ingredients ready. About me- Short story

: Add oil to the cooker and add cumin, mustard seeds, curry leaves and all ingredients to fry it.

: Add drained rice and fry it, add all ingredients to it and stir it well.

: Add hot water and keep a tight lid on the cooker.

: Take 2 to 3 whistles and serve it after some time.

We have a farm and having so many vegetables, different types of beans, some pumpkins etc.  In last week our farmer of my field bought 1 sack vegetables of them some are beans, Spinach, Methi  of 3 kg Mutter beans.

I   have distributed some beans to the neighbors and some are kept for us. Sunday in the morning I removed its cover and keep ready to cook. Really these Mutter have the specific taste.Indian Cuisine

Then just I thought what to do with this? I decided to make Mutter _ Pullav.

Rice 2 cup

Mutter  1+ 1/2 cup

garam masala   1 tbsp

salt  as your convenience

oil  2 tbsp

cumin 1 tbsp

mustard seeds 1 tbsp

a paste of garlic 1 tbsp 

a paste of coriander, ginger 1 tbsp

green chilly 5 to 6

hing 1 teas

curry leaves 5 to 6

PROCEDURE  FOR IT: Wash the rice with clean water and keep to soak it for 2 to 3

: Take it out from the water and keep to drain its water.

:  Keep the small cooker on the gas,

: Pour oil into the cooker, wait for to heat it, add cumin,

mustard seeds and wait to splutter it.

: Now add curry leaves and saute it, add paste of garlic, a paste of coriander and fry it well.

: Now add mutters , fry it well, add rice and fry it well.


: Add garam masala, coriander[chopped] , salt, etc and stir it                                                       lightly

: Add hot water to it and keep the lid on cooker tightly.

:  Take 2 whistles and put off the gas.

: Serve it with lemon and fried green chilly.
