In our area, we have good cultivation of peanut .There is a long story about Peanut .That how to cultivate peanuts ? Why did peanuts grow underground? etc . In India so many farmers cultivate a lot of peanuts .

They are storing it for a year by giving hot Sun to it. These peanuts are giving good delicious slight sweet taste to the peanut .If we will eat it as it is then also they are giving good taste along with increasing proteins, blood volume, etc .

We are making a lot of food products from it peanut butter, peanut chutney, peanut paratha, baked khaman peanuts, Salty peanuts etc .

Jaggary 250 gm

cashew nuts 4 to 5

Almonds 4 to 5

cardamom powder : 1 teaspoon

PROCEDURE FOR IT   Take  the peanuts in the pan 

: Keep the pan on the gas to bake it .

: Bake it slowly till red color appears and Khaman smell spread everywhere.

Take the grated jaggary and another ingredient ready .

After cooling the peanuts , pour it to the mixture jar .

: Now grind it first in the mixture jar slowly ,

: Add grated Jaggary and another ingredients to it .

: Grind it well .

: Mix it properly and make it’s Ladoo .

Moongphali Chikki   – A Traditional  Nutrient 

This food is a traditional nutrient. As it contains more protein, calcium, phosphorus, etc. It has more fats, oil, calcium etc.

An ancient times there was a say that, farmer was the king on the earth. So God also taking some decisions from him. At that time  suddenly, there was drought  and everyone was worried about how to survive now? So many farmers are cultivating different types of crops which require less water.

Now one farmer was so talented that God thinks that, we must have to take an exam of this farmer so he went to the farmer. Now farmer was telling some problems of him then God told him okay,” if you want my blessing and crop from me  to you, then, you must have to give me some part of your crop”. Otherwise, I couldn’t give you any type of blessing. Farmer getting worried. First, there was no water in the farm in them this God was also demanding me some part of my food. He thought, for a while and asked God. How much part of a food you want from my crop? Then God replied him, I want 1/2 portion of your plant what you are growing. Then farmer thought inside and agree to give him.

 Farmer Made An  Idea   

Now a farmer becoming happy and came home and told his story to his wife. His wife also clever they both have thought how can we give 1/2 portion of a crop to the God? If there was no crop on my farm. Then both have decided to cultivate groundnut plants. As God has made an agreement with them that he wants the only half portion of a plant. Not told upside or downside.  We know that groundnuts are growing downside the soil and upside only leaves are there.

How They Have Tried To Convert In To Action ?

So when plant completely grows we will cut it and give upside part to the GOD and  downside to keep with us. So that we couldn’t go against the God and we will get the good blessing too.responsible/

In this way, they have grown these plants in their field and given half part to the God and so from that time its name become Groundnut.

Groundnut: 1/4 kg

jaggary: 250 gm

ghee: 2 tbsp

water: 2 cups.

PROCEDURE  FOR IT: Bake the peanuts on the small gas till they become hard                                                          and crispy. http://malai halwa recipe/

: Keep it to cool, now remove the peel of it and thresh upside part                                         of it clearly. Make its half part by rubbing on hand.

: Keep the pan on the gas, pour Jaggary to it, add water and stir it                                              well .

: Give heat to it still become sticky. Now add white peanut to it.

:  Make your hand wet and make its Chikki benefits of ginger

  NOTE : I learnt this story when I had been in 3 rd class. Still I remember it as it is.

This is the time pass recipe. We know when we go to watch cinema we are purchasing, sweet corn, chips, or chocolates or baked peanuts or baked salty grams or baked salty mutter etc to make our time pass. These types of foods are so lucky that when we purchased it we didn’t see its taste & when we busy in watching cinema we didn’t understand that it is good baked or raw Or worst etc we are enjoying as it is while eating.

Another thing is that these type of food is giving real enjoyment when we are on the bank of a sea . or in a cricket stadium also. This food is giving very nice feeling while eating, crunchy, salty, tasty etc we never forget its taste. How full fill we may be eaten we want again it doesn’t give a feeling of fulfil ness of a stomach. But feeling interesting while eating.

Baking of this food depends on you, how did you want to bake it means keeping gas flame slow or by keeping it fast. If you want to make it more crunchy & tasty then bake it slowly.

Ingredients for it   :

Raw Peanuts  :   1/4 kg

salt : As your convenience

chilly powder  1 tbsp

cumin powder 1 tbsp

ghee :   1tbsp


Take the dry good crunchy, slight sweet peanut.

: Keep the pan on the gas, wait to heat it.

:  Pour peanut into it. Start the gas

:  Shake it well. Keep the flame of gas fast

: After some time keep the flame slow.

: Pour 1 tabs ghee to it and fry it well on the slow gas.

: Add chilly powder, cumin powder, salt in it and bake it                                                                 continuously.

: Put off the gas.

: Serve it after cooling


Take the dry peanut

Bake it slowly on the gas

Pour some ghee to it and fry it well

Add chilly powder, salt,  cumin powder to it

Serve it after cooling.

How To Make Baked Peanut Chutney? – Chutney Recipes

If we will go to Poona we are not getting tasty groundnut .the seeds which are using Poona people are tasteless . If we will decide to make chutney of it, it does not make tasty. So we know that a lot of Poona’s people are bringing chutney from Latur.  So many are making this chutney in the stone pot. I have bought a big stone pot but to make it require so much time and a lot of energy so I decided to make same like this chutney without stone pot. Having taste same. Here so many are using a big machine to crush the groundnut seeds. This chutney we can mix with Dahi eats with chapati, roti, rice. It gives the best taste with Dhapate.

Let us see how I made it in a less time with the mixture.

chilly powder: 1/2 bowl

cumin’s  :     1 tabs

garlic flakes: 1/2 bowl [peeled]

oil: 1  teas

PROCEDURE FOR IT: Take the groundnut in the big pan.

: Keep it on the gas to bake

: Bake it continuously

: See the cover of it can remove easily if it can remove easily

then think that these are baked nicely. It’s aroma also  comes to us.

: Keep these groundnuts to cool aside for a while.

: After cooling add ingredients chilly powder, salt, cumin,                                                     garlic flakes

: Keep it in the mixture to grind it. Grind it slowly, quickly

: Now turn the button of mixture reverse to make it sticky.

: If groundnuts are not baked well it doesn’t make sticky.

: To make sticky you can add 1 teaspoon of oil and grind it.

So many are using red chilies directly to get good color but I didn’t understand it’s proportion so I have not used chilies.

I   didn’t have used oil for it. As we didn’t like more sticky chutney as, like mud, it reduces the taste of other ingredients.

These types of chutney we are using to eat with HURDA [green Jowar] in the farm


1] Bake the groundnuts khaman

2]   Add ingredients to it

3] Grind it on the mixture slowly.

NOTE: Do not grind fast, slowly grinding makes good chutney. Images of it
